The 3rd batch of interns conclude their India experience

With the seminar in Mumbai on 27 August the experiential part of Tata Social Internship internships for 2010 has concluded. This year the Tata Social Internship experience was availed of by four students from the University of California, Berkeley (US), and from the UK by six students from the University of Cambridge and three from the London School of Economics (LSE).

In 2010, the corporate sustainability (CS) issues addressed through Tata Social Internship projects ranged from livelihoods creation in the agricultural sector, to carbon footprint mitigation strategies, feasibility studies for renewable energy options for villages, to assessments and upgradation suggestions for companies’ current CS programmes or roadmaps for new educational and transport sector interventions.

The post-internship seminars will take place at the universities by the close of the year.
